I was finally able to get the website up and running!!! (Things have been crazy- but in a normal busy way.) I'm excited about the website and blog. Kinda an online diary of sorts =)
Here's a little about how PricklyWhiskers got started:
I've always liked cartoons and drawing. Several years ago, my daughter asked me to draw her an alligator- my first cartoon attempt!

I found it is fun and relaxing to draw these. So of course, I had to draw my other daughter a cartoon too-- and decided on her weenie dog for inspiration...

Well- I was hooked. I knew it was something I wanted to do more often. After drawing a few other critters, I decided that they should have a name. Our basset hound, Sofie, came up and stuffed her face into mine- (she wanted attention)- and poked me with her whiskers. Yup- PricklyWhiskers was born. I decided I wanted to create illustrations that were whimsical, silly, and would put a smile on peoples faces. Life has taught me it's too precious to take for granted-- the people in our lives need to be cherished - you never know what the next day may bring. So Smile, Laugh, and Love.
