Autumn has arrived!

I love fall. It is my favorite season. Beautiful sunny days (with very little humidity), crisp cool nights, and gorgeous colorful leaves. The beginning of the holidays, decorations, and family time. Cider, donuts, apple pie, life slowing down.

I always tell people it's summer- and I really do love summer... having the windows open finally, flowers, fresh cut grass... but the heat and humidity get to me sometimes. Then there's winter... yuck. Dark, cold, trapped in the house... sorry- got off on a rabbit trail there. Anyway- with things slowing down a little, I'm feeling a little more creative again. Been getting ideas and inspiration for some new designs. Looking through some old pictures...

I came across this image of a white birch tree near my house. I created an impressionist painting from the photo. I may have to go wander and get some more photos soon. The trees are just starting to change.

So for now- I'm going to focus on some of my old images, and maybe some creative word design cards...
